It’s normal, and very common, to deal with a wide range of physical, emotional and practical challenges.
Fortunately, there are many resources to help you cope, and support you, throughout your cancer experience.
Talk about your feelings
It really does help to talk to people about how you’re feeling. Your family and friends can be a very good source of support – and they want to help you as best they can, too.
You can also talk to us, a counsellor or psychologist. We can put you in touch with someone who has had a similar experience with cancer.

We’re here to look after you – and to ensure you receive all the care and help you need.
Please ask us if you would like to see a counsellor, nurse, dietician, physiotherapist or other allied health professionals.
Our patient services team can also help coordinate practical challenges such as parking, transport and accommodation while you receive treatment with us.
