At GenesisCare, we offer affordable, timely, personalised, high quality care. We treat both public and private patients.

What type of service is radiation therapy?

Radiation therapy treatment is typically an outpatient service.

Most private health funds don’t cover outpatient services, so there will be a cost associated with your care. However, Medicare reimburses between 80% and 90% of the cost of treatment.

Our patient services team are here to help you understand the costs and payment options for your treatment.
